Invalid SIM Card Error Message

Posted by: Admin In: BlackBerry| How-To| Troubleshooting

Question :
When I insert my SIM card, I get an error message. It says : ‘Invalid SIM card’.

Answer :
This will happen if you buy a locked BlackBerry, so you can only use it with specific SIM card from one operator. You can see if the BlackBerry is locked or no. Click on [Options] – [Advanced Options] – [SIM Card] in that screen, type MEPD. If you find a lot of menu are in ‘Enabled’ state, that means the BlackBerry is still being locked. Get your BlackBerry to the one of the BlackBerry’s service.
